That one liner can be perceived a number of ways, but raw juicing is an integral part of Coach Jessica’s and my healthy lifestyle. We practice this daily. Reason being, the powerful one-two punch from frequent exercise and raw, organic juices can create a stress free environment for the body (or lower stress in most cases). Cortisol (the stress hormone) is an inflammatory response due to stress. Inflammation is full of free radicals and cell destroying agents. In the presence of more oxygen and antioxidants, inflammation is neutralized and dissolved.
Raw foods are power foods!
For one, raw juices are the perfect source for a potent dose of antioxidants, phytonutrients and live enzymes (perfect for aiding digestion and absorbing nutrients). Adding this to exercise, which oxidates the circulatory system and makes a neutral pH environment for non malicious cells (disease thrives in acidic environments). This creates two components that free radicals and cortisol prefer to avoid.

This is one of the biggest enemies to stress reduction, and is one we have helped numerous clients with. Popular home fitness programs are often too difficult for all ability levels and can take up 45 minutes or more. However, CrossFit workouts are somewhat scalable, and efficient (typical workouts take eight to fifteen minutes). Even with the efficiency component, one still needs to travel to a CrossFit gym.

Some pieces are recommended, but these are affordable and transportable. As well, Workout Anywhere is accessible through mobile phones, tablets, computers and televisions.
