We like pancakes too! Like most of our recipes, we’ve created solutions for most ‘Merican’ cravings that are both delicious and nutritious (and generally approved for ideal weight loss). Our Pumpkin Protein Pancakes taste amazing and are so much better for you than traditional pancakes.
Go ahead and give it a try!
• Canned Pure Pumpkin (no added sugar)-1/3 Cup
• Oats- ½ cup blended into oat flour
• Egg whites- 3/4 cup (for a heart healthy option replace with 1 ripe banana)
• Pumpkin Spice- ¼ tsp.
• Cinnamon- ¼ tsp.
• Truvia- 2 tsp.
Blend oats first and add in the remaining ingredients and blend. Heat stove top to medium heat and spray pan with Pam. You should be able to make 2-3 small to medium size pancakes from one serving.
