My 12-week journey was certainly an unusual one. Since I was young I have played football, and I have been a career-long offensive and defensive lineman. Being in this position I?ve always been one of the bigger players on the team. However, when my collegiate career came to a close recently, I decided it was time to make a change in my overall body composition. When I began the RundleFit challenge, I noticed immediate results. I was seeing drastic changes in my body within the first few weeks. My workouts seemed much more productive than what I had previously been used to.
My journey hit an unusual speed bump several weeks in though, when I was offered a contract to play professional football in Europe. Suddenly my fitness goals needed to change, rather than focusing on weight loss, they needed to focus on overall fitness and strength gain so that I was still able to play at a high level. Thanks to the guidance of RundleFit, I was able to make this happen. My workout and nutrition plan was tailored to meet my new goals. I ended up playing offense and defense in France. Then, even in Europe, without access to the specific nutrition I had become accustomed to and the high level of workout facilities I was experienced in, I still began noticing changes in my body. The clothes I had brought with me all began to fit much more loosely and when I saw friends and family several months later they all made comments about how fit I now looked. When my football career does come to a close, I look forward to shifting back toward my original fitness goals.
