Grilled Steak & Chicken Pinwheels

Marinade:grilled steak and chicken pinwheels

1.) 1/3 cup soy sauce

2.) 2 tablespoons honey

3.) 3 cloves garlic chopped

4.) 2 green onions chopped.

5.) 2 tablespoons vinegar

6.) 3/4 cup olive oil

7.) 1 ½ teaspoon ground ginger


1.) 2 Chicken breast sliced in half to thin out then pound out.grilled steak and chicken pinwheels

2.) 1 Flank Steak pounded or have butcher tenderize it

3.) 6 sweet peppers julienned

4.) ½ medium onion julienned

5.) 1 package broccoli slaw (pre packaged julienned broccoli with cabbage and carrots)

6.) 3 carrots julienned


Place all marinade ingredients into a gallon ziplock bag. Shake to mix. Place meat in bag and allow to marinade at least 4 hours. Best if left over night. Cut steak in half long ways. Place line of each vegetable down the center like you were making a burrito. Roll both sides up and secure with cooking string. We used 4 pieces of string per half of steak and 3 pieces for each chicken. Cook on BBQ until meat is cooked through to your liking. Let both meats sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Remove string and slice in 3 inch portions to create a pinwheel.
