The Basics Beginner Workout

The Basics Workout-Week 1

Welcome to The Basics Beginner Workout. This is the perfect launching point for true beginners, or someone just getting back into fitness. The Basics will provide a balanced, total body workout without the needs of weights or a plethora of equipment.

Use this routine to gage whether or not you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced athlete.  If confused about your fitness level, just ask us or join our FREE member area.

Once fitness level is established, every workout starts with our game changing, dynamic workout. Be sure to do this before starting any workout routine.

    Day Two workout DONE (8/8/13)

    DJ: 8 1/4 – pushups are hardest BY FAR. After round 2, the most I can do before resting is 8-11. Mountain climbers are not too bad … but I’m still doing the “easy” (regular) version. Was a bit sore today too! Run tomorrow, then back at this again on Saturday

    DAY 3 WORKOUT DONE!

    DJ: 8 + round of squats + 7 of 15 pushups (PR)
    K: 6 rounds

    Our 14 month and 3 1/2 year olds “joined” us for a bit. Made it somewhat more challenging. Ha.
