Weekly Home Workout: The Card Game

Workout Anywhere's Card Game

I love playing cards, but what’s this card game all about?

If you’re a fan of high stakes poker, black jack or other card games, then this home workout is for you.  However, your pockets are not at risk, just your calories.

This is not your typical game of 21 or Texas Hold’em.  With The Card Game, the stakes are much higher.  Every draw of a card equals a fat burning exercise. Welcome to the latest, Weekly Home Workout #15: The Card Game.(Instructions are below workout graphic)

This is the latest Workout Anywhere version of The Card Game, with more to come!  Every face value is associated with an exercise, while every number refers to repetitions.

Workout Anywhere Card Game

Ok, so back to the card game. How do I begin?

Watch the video below (if you have access, if not go to Workout Anywhere) to learn the exercises, variations and levels of our version of playing cards. Feel free to share with Workout Anywhere, your peers and fitness community how well you played the card game.  As well, let us know your favorite or least favorite parts.

The Beauty of this weekly home workout is the only equipment required is a deck of cards, a sturdy chair and one’s body weight.  For the most part, one’s body becomes the gym.  Whether playing the game as a home workout, travel workout or on a work break, be sure to do the warm-up, maybe an additional Four Minute Total Core session and stretch for optimal results.
