The power is in the power-foods (antioxidant rich and nutrient dense):
Greens (Spinach or Kale):
Adding Spinach or Kale to the mix will supercharge the slimming effect of this smoothie. Either choice is packed with potent antioxidants, phytonutrients, and live enzymes (when raw and natural). These components are proven to aid in overall health, but are metabolism boosters due their fibrous nature and surplus of nutrients. Even better, greens are very low-calorie!
Whether it’s Huckleberries, raspberries, blueberries or strawberries, all will add a delicious flavor and add additional antioxidants and nutrients to the slimming smoothie. As well as adding dietary fiber for slowed digestion and hunger suppression. In other words, you will be less likely to binge on unapproved foods if you stick to this recipe.

For no sugar added, the natural sweetener Truvia can add an immense amount of flavor to the smoothie. Or, for a some natural sugar content, try a small serving of Agave, honey or molasses. Each have fewer calories than regular sugar, which provides a healthier substitution for sugar and ultimately weight loss.
Jessica’s Slimming Green Smoothie Recipe Directions:
The base of the slimming green smoothie should be filtered water and ice. Then add each ingredient by blending. Or, instead of ice, use frozen fruit.
- 2 cups raw organic kale, roughly chopped (organic spinach is also a substitute)
- 1/3 cup organic blueberries
1/3 cup organic huckleberries, quartered
6 oz organic plain Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp of Truvia or organic raw honey, Agave or molasses
