When boiled down, there’s three major points of emphasis for getting golf fit. Those are:

  1. Balanced Core Strength
  2. Mobility
  3. Total Body Strength

Improving on these three elements can literally be a game changer and best of all, the time commitment for improving all three categories is minimal (under 30 minutes).

Are you trying to tell me, I don’t need to spend hours a day to get golf fit and play like Tiger?

That’s correct. Think of how one starts playing golf. Teeing off. If you’re not focusing on your core doing the work and controlling your upper body and hips, then you’re doing it wrong.

In addition, the core needs balanced strength and mobility, to fire and function correctly in order to support long drives or short puts.

Additionally, one needs great shoulder, hip, and ankle mobility to get into the ideal body position for every stroke. If one’s mobility/flexibility is lacking, then optimal power and performance is too.

Last, but not least is improving one’s total body strength. This doesn’t mean going to the gym and cranking out squats, or the bench press, but actually using bodyweight movements that will only enhance the last two elements and overall functional strength.
