Who knew, when we spoke about the hottest fitness trends of 2013 and 2014 our training program Workout Anywhere would be at the forefront of these trends and even one of this year’s hottest fitness programs.
With reports by notable health sites such as Prevention, PopSugar, Huffington Post and plenty of others, we are excited that fitness sources are realizing our approach to fitness not only fits any schedule and situation, but is also highly effective.
Where Did The Concept of Working Out Anywhere Come From?
Our training style has been nearly a decade in the making, as we compiled our own beliefs and dissected more familiar and popular programs to help others in need of a more efficient and effective training protocol. One unlimited by equipment, space, devices and even without DVD’s. Not until 2009 did we start referring to our training program as Workout Anywhere.
Workout Anywhere is exactly what ACSM, Huff Post, Prevention and all the “newsworthy” sites are buzzing about. Bodyweight training and HIIT are here to stay and have even been in the top ranks of the hottest fitness trends of 2012, 2013, and 2014, because our society needs a solution that is not only effective, but meets the demands of most busy American’s schedules.
Most can no longer fathom spending hours at a gym, or even spending an hour in a typical aerobics class and why should they? If the goal is to lose weight and get as functionally fit as possible; shorter bodyweight workouts are the golden ticket. Plus, bodyweight workouts are an activity the whole family will love! Family fitness is in for a fun activity to prevent diabetes and obesity.
Why? It’s literally exercise science and understanding how the body works and burns fat. Using Workout Anywhere’s smart training approach teaches one how to unlock their own bodyweight and manipulate it into the most versatile and effective training method for busy people.
It’s true that weights, gyms and expensive training sessions are no longer necessary for effective results (it will take a while to move past this stigma). In fact the truth is, one can have better results at home, on a lunch break or literally work out anywhere and have their best results with a series of 15 minute workouts.
